About Jennifer, Book Coach

The Journey

Ever since her days at University and during the Mum years, Jennifer loved writing books. So she went on a self-publishing path alongside her copywriting and marketing work.

By 2015, she was making headway with editing skills, which led her to offer typesetting and book editing.

Now the author of seven books, her mentorship provides top value to professional people looking to publish for a variety of reasons.

From manuscript assessments of five pages, to entire comprehensive edits, Jen’s work has let the author’s voice shine through.

Jennifer’s books are about protecting personal finances, starting a freelance business, prosperity, and marketing.

Early Writing Career

A Communications degree from UWS helped Jennifer explore many types of writing, as well as editing principles, in which she got a High Distinction.

Marketing support roles and freelancing enabled her to gain competence in varied styles of communication: feature articles, website writing, SEO, tourist guides, and sales copywriting.

Jen’s first short ebook: How to Kick Your Spending Habits got published on Lulu. It sold well.

In 2006, Jennifer set up as a freelance copywriter in sunny Redcliffe, Brisbane. Power of Words was born.
